Peter Paul Brodbeck, age 63, of Woodland passed on July 16, 2018 at his home and is now celebrating in heaven with loved ones already there. He was born on September 17, 1954 in Ionia to Willard and Margaret (Balduf) Brodbeck. Peter was a graduate of Lakewood High School class of 1972.

He then attended MSU for Dairy Science. While attending MSU he met his wife Barbara Peeples and married on December 6, 1980. Peter retired from Bosch LLC after working there for 20 years.

He enjoyed working on projects around the house, playing drums for J3 and the church, riding horses, watching nature and of course MSU sports. Peter will be missed by: siblings; Naomi (Roger) Wilson of Lake Odessa, Esther (Alan) Sellman of Grand Rapids, Philip (Dawn) Brodbeck of Lake Odessa, Mary (John Schmitt) Brodbeck of Kalamazoo, Jacob (Alfreda) Brodbeck of Saginaw and Abraham (Lorena Boltz) Brodbeck of Clinton, stepson Christopher Brodbeck, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by: his wife Barbara; his parents; nephew AJ Brodbeck; niece Cindy Brodbeck; and special friend Sally.

A celebration of Peter’s life will be held at the Lakewood United Methodist Church on September 8, 2018 there will be a one hour visitation prior to the service. Online condolences can be given at www. koopsfc.com.
