Obituary for M. Petra Andrade Ma. Petra C. Andrade, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 21, 2018 surrounded by family at her home here in Del Rio. She was born on November 27, 1931 in Del Rio.

Preceding her in death was her beloved husband of 62 years, Guadalupe M. Andrade; parents, Pedro and Lina Castillo; daughter, Teresita Andrade; son, Jose F. Andrade; siblings: Rosalio Castillo, Pascual Castillo, and Gregoria Reyes. Family members left to cherish her memory include daughters: Lina Andrade and husband Julio Morin of Houston, TX, Rosario Cervantes of Del Rio, Jovita A. Peña and husband Esteban Peña of Del Rio, Esmeralda A. Jalomos and husband Pedro Jalomos of Del Rio, and Angelita Andrade of Del Rio; sons: Guadalupe Andrade Jr. and wife Rosalva Andrade of San Jose, CA, and Javier Andrade and wife San Juana Andrade of Del Rio; brother, Pablo Castillo of Del Rio; Petra is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Faith.

A Prayer Service will begin at 7 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Rolando Lira officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Rafael Gonzalez, Arturo Garcia, Salvador Ramos, Javier Andrade Jr., Victor Serrano, and Leonel Serrano.
