Obituary for Maximiano “Chano” Montalvo Maximiano “Chano” Montalvo, age 87, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the Main Methodist Hospital, located in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on March 14, 1931 in Zaragoza, Coahuila, Mexico. Family members left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 63 years, Concepcion Montalvo of Del Rio; sons: Juan Antonio Montalvo and wife Dolores Montalvo of Del Rio, and Rolando Montalvo and wife Sylvia Montalvo of San Antonio; daughters: Armandina Espinoza and husband Ricardo Espinoza of Del Rio, Clementina Luna and husband Gabriel Luna of Austin, Maria del Carmen Vazquez and husband Marco Antonio Vazquez of Del Rio, and Connie Arrañaga and husband Hector Arrañaga; Chano is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Faith. A Holy Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (time pending). Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
