Obituary for George R. Calvetti George R. Calvetti, age 44, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Methodist Texsan Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on August 13, 1973 in Del Rio. Preceding him death were his parents, Odilia Z. Calvetti and George M. Calvetti; maternal grandparents: Maria and Dionicio Zapata; paternal grandparents: Olivia and Jose Calvetti.

Family members left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Michelle Ortega Calvetti of Del Rio; sister, Maricela Calvetti and husband Raul Yanez of Del Rio; children: Lilly M. Calvetti, Joe A. Calvetti, and Isabel Araujo; grandchildren: Edgar Morales Jr. and Mia Garza; nephews/nieces: Raul Yanez Jr., Aric Yanez, and Ava Yanez; George is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and other family members. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Faith. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Burial will follow at the San Felipe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Ricky Zapata, Danny Zapata, Michael Zapata, Joe A. Calvetti, Raul Yanez Jr., and Brandon Zapata. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of George R. Calvetti please visit our Sympathy Store.
