Phyllis C. Long, 71 of Mantua, Ohio passed away Friday January 11, 2019 at Uh Portage Medical Center in Ravenna. She was born November 1, 1947 in Crab Orchard, WVA to the late James T. and Hallie M. (Johnson) Wooten. Mrs. Long had fostered over 84 plus children with her husband Eddy.

Survivors include her children Vanessa (Ron) Lucas, Tina Long and Shannon English Long, her grandchildren Rodney (Chelsea ) Lucas, Ryan Lucas, Amber (Chad) Grantham and Angel (John) Esposito, great grandchildren Hunter Grantham, Rylie Lucas, Rubie Lucas, baby A and baby B Esposito, her siblings Dale (Sue) Wooten, Helen Walker, Danny (Shanna) Meredith, Sarah Osborne, Kitty (Chuck) Thomas, Carol Snyder , brother in law Ronnie Long and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eddy L. Long on March 25, 2017 and her sister Mildred Paul. Calling hours will be from 1 to 4 PM Sunday January 13, 2019 and from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 AM Monday January 14, 2019 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.

Pastor Michael Visniesky will officiate. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua. Condolences and memories of Phyllis may be shared with her family at www.
