The family will receive friends at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29 at the Elmwood Cemetery pavilion with Rev.

Clint Pope officiating. Polly Anne Gill was born on December 15, 1936 in Damon, Oklahoma to Roy and Ruby (Tucker) Dean. She grew up mainly in the Wilburton area, as well as Gowen, and graduated from Wilburton high school.

She was married to Luther Gene Gill on January 26, 1956 in Wilburton. She worked for many years as a seamstress at Komar. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, fishing, and metal detecting.

Polly is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Tom Suter of Elk City and Donna and Dale Burke of Hartshorne; seven grandchildren, April Suter, Jeremy Suter and Rose; Crysta Watson and Brian, Tyrel Suter and Susan, Juliayn Kilhoffer and Kyle, Bracee Burke and Blake Burke; great grandchildren, Mason and Aria Suter, Riley, Easton, Colton and Connor Watson, Meghan, Kynlee and Creed Suter and Kase and Kruz Kilhoffer; a brother, Raymond “Junior” Dean; and a sister, Roberta “Gean” Miller. Polly is also survived by her special companion, Toby, her pet shihtzu. Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Gill; her parents, Roy and Ruby Dean; brothers, Ronnie, Donnie and Frank Dean; sisters, Shirley Burris and Katy Sensibaugh; and a grandson, Anthony Burke.
