Mr. Homer Burnett FennellMr. Homer Burnett Fennell, 79, husband of Eris Mae Fennell, died Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Mooresville, NC, after an illness. Mr. Fennell was born September 11, 1939, son of the late Christian Edward Fennell and Janie Lois Nettles Fennell. Surviving are his wife, Eris Mae Cameron Fennell of Troutman, NC; son, Bobby Burnett Fennell of Lake City; daughters, Cynthia Fennell Gerald and Eris Renee (Steven) Seagle, both of Troutman, NC; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; siblings, Clair (Brenda) Fennell, Ray (Dessie) Fennell, Bobby Fennell, all of Lake City, Geneva Pickett of Darlington and Eunice Gause of Kingstree.

Mr. Fennell was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Ann Fennell Rumsey; grandson, James Roy Rusmey, III; siblings, LeGrand Fennell and Dona Williams. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Power-Durant Cemetery, Johnsonville, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, SC and other times at the home of John Wayne Nicholson, 3876 Cain Branch Circle, Pamplico, SC 29583.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Funeral Home, PO Box 757, Scranton, SC 29591.
