Rachel Hazel Norris’ Obituary Rachel Hazel Norris Jones Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Antioch United Pentecostal Church in Laurel, MS for Rachel Norris Jones, 76 of Hot Coffee, MS, who passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Bro Gerald Sawyer and Bro Edwin Wildman will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, Collins, MS and from 1:30 PM till service time Sunday at Antioch United Pentecostal Church, Laurel, MS. Pallbearers will be Jayden Jones, Glaston Jones, Jonathan Kitchens, Hollis Yarbrough III, Andrew Yarbrough, Grady Nathan Jones Jr, Matthew Powell, and Jacob Cascio. Honorary pallbearers will be her Great-grandsons.

Her and her late husband Buck Adam were married for 54 years. They were the owners of Woody’s Small Engine in Laurel, MS for 41 years. She loved fishing, deer hunting and camping.

She has been known to kill two foxes and two deer with two shots on the same day. She enjoyed listening to her gospel music LOUD. She was very well known for her angel biscuits and her cooking.

Anyone who came to her house would receive a hot meal before they left. She loved people and left a lasting impression on those she met. But most of all she was known for her love for Jesus Christ and her church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Buck Adam Jones, her parents Grady and Venus Norris, her brothers, Hershel Norris, Grady Edward Norris Jr., Cortis Alford Norris, Lilon Norris, Sisters, Maria Blackwell and Sue McDonald, Great-grandchildren, Rylan McCraney and Tyler Yarbrough. Survivors include her children, Franklin Buck Jones and his fiance Lori, Richard Glaston Jones and his wife Theresa, Janese Jean Kitchens and her husband Raymond, Danese Dean Walker and her husband Freddie, Grady Nathan Jones and his wife Cyndi, Rachel Joanna Brewer and her husband Darrell, Grandchildren, Adam Jones and his wife Sandra, April Dye and her husband Kenny, Kimberly Whatley and her husband Brian, Faith Powell and her husband Matthew, Glaston Jones and his fiance Brooke, Jonathan Kitchens and his wife Brittney, Channon Cascio and her husband Jacob, Hollis Yarbrough III and his wife Herminia, Kristi Pickett and her husband Wes, Andrew Yarbrough and his wife Megan, Jeremy Walker, Tasha Jones, Grady Nathan Jr Jones and his fiance Lane, Kaitlyn Smith and her husband Colbey, Cody Matheny and his fiance Melinda, Garrett Matheny, Hunter Matheny, Heath Matheny and his fiance Sarah, Alison Walker, Myranda Brewer, Hannah Brewer, 33 Great- Grandchildren, Sisters, Ruth Smith, Ernestine (Tina) Ervin and her husband Lex, Helen Mooney, Linda Sherman and special family friend Edwin Wildman.
