Ralph Dwaine Jensen November 19, 1946 – October 12, 2018 Ralph Dwaine Jensen, age 71, passed away October 12, 2018 at his home in Clinton, Utah. Ralph was born November 19, 1946 in Ogden, the oldest of 3 children born to Wilson A. Jensen and Elaine R. Youngman Jensen. He is survived by his children, Jenise Jensen (Bryan Vincent) and Keith Jensen; grandson, Graham Vincent; brother, Lynn Jensen (Pat); sister, Karen Jensen Tomczak and several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

Growing up, Ralph attended Ben Lomond High School. He married Nadine C. Jensen in 1969 and they had two children before they divorced in 1989. Ralph was in the Army Reserves and worked for Browning Arms and the State of Utah as a computer programmer, where he made several close friends.

Ralph was an avid car enthusiast, reading about and collecting all kinds of cars through the years. He was a proud member of the Corvette Club of Utah for several years. Ralph was a member of Toastmasters for several years, as well as enjoyed collecting rare coins and silver and going target shooting with his son and nephew.

He also enjoyed playing racquetball, running, skydiving, and reading, especially the dictionary. The latter was a favorite hobby that he loved to share with all who would allow him through texts and jokes about word spellings and meanings. Perhaps what Ralph found the most joy in was being a Santa’s helper, where he was honored to spend many Christmas seasons listening to the wishes of children and passing those along to the Big Man up North.

Ralph got his second chance at life in 2012 due to organ donation. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on November 3, 2018 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd.
