Obituary for Gary Lynn Wilson Gary Lynn Wilson, 64, passed away on October 12, 2018 at his home in Brigham City, UT. He was born January 4, 1954 in Salt Lake City, UT to Walter Teddy Wilson and Doris Mozelle Hudson. He was raised in Bountiful, UT and graduated from Bountiful High School with the class of 1972.

Gary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission from 1973 – 1975. He married Penny Jo Moosman on September 3, 1981 for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.

Gary was a self-employed Electrical Engineer, a trade he learned at the feet of his father. He was called upon by many to do jobs because of his knowledge and dependability. He was an avid sports fan.

He loved all the teams Utah had to offer, from the BYU Cougars to the Utah State Aggies. After visiting Boston, Gary became fans of Boston’s sports teams. Gary enjoyed skiing when he was younger and loved to go fishing as he got older.

But he loved spending time with his 13 grandchildren, most of all. They always held a special place in his heart. Gary is survived by his wife: Penny; children: Brandi Sega (Mark), Jonathan Wilson, Matthew Wilson (Heather), Ashley Wood (Tycin); 13 grandchildren: Nicholas, Trevon, Ryleigh, Parker, Kaitlynn, Peyton, Madison, Dallin, Jayden, Bennett, Melanie, Joshua, and Hailee; Siblings: Mark Wilson (Pat), Scott Wilson (Martha), Bryan Wilson (Christine) and Corrie Moosman.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ted & Doris, sister Linda Wilson, brother Christopher Wilson, and son-in-law Brian Oliver. Also many other family members who meant a lot to him. The family would like to invite Gary’s family and friends to celebrate Gary’s life at a memorial on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 1 pm to 3 pm.

It will be held at the Brigham City 6th Ward, 105 Fishburn Dr, Brigham City, UT 84302. They ask that you remember Gary by doing some act of kindness for someone. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Gary Lynn Wilson please visit our Sympathy Store.
