Randall G. Barnes, 57, of Rock Island, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at his home after a brief illness. Services will be 10 am Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made in care of New Life Baptist Church, Davenport. Randall was born in Rock Island on November 11, 1961, a son of Chesley and Bonnie Schomer Barnes.

He graduated from Rock Island High School in 1979. He married Charlotte Bush-Calvin on July 10, 1999 in Davenport. Randall worked 41 years as a forklift driver for A.D. Huesing Corporation, Rock Island.

He retired in 2018. Randall was a member of New Life Baptist Church, Davenport. He enjoyed woodworking and watching old cartoons, such as: Popeye and the Flintstones.

He was also a passionate gardener. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Charlotte Barnes, Rock Island; son, Spencer Barnes, Davenport; step-son, Curtis Calvin, Rock Island; brother, Tim Barnes, Rock Island; and several aunts, uncles and countless cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Mark Barnes and sister Lisa Barnes-Newswander.
