Ronald N. Riddell, 79, of Milan, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave. , Milan.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made to the family. Ronald was born on July 30, 1939 in Galesburg, IL, the son of Leonard and Edna (Peterson) Riddell.

He married Geraldine Fitch in 1977 in Rock Island. Ronald was employed as a mechanic and also drove trucks. He was always outdoors, riding motorcycles and ATV’s, hunting, and spending lots of time cutting wood.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR and going to local stockcar races. Ronald loved his time spent with his family and his dog, Bear Bear. Ronald is survived by his wife, Geraldine Riddell; children, Barry (Patricia) Riddell, Joleen (Charles) Rasso, Kelly (Kenny) Temple, Geri (William) Miles, Delbert Carey, Susan (David) Willoughby, Dennis (Tara) Carey, and Lisa (Dennis) Mrasak; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, L. Paulette Engelkens.
