It is with much pain that we announce the passing of Raul Emilio Crespo Marin on May 3, 2018 Raulito was a very happy guy – full of life – and took his Muscular Dystrophy diagnosis in stride. He never let the illness define him. Raul was a fighter, a philosopher, a counselor.

A guy with a sharp sense of humor, Raul never took any nonsense. He was always asking deep questions – about the universe, God, and life beyond this earth. We have no doubt that he will find the answers.

Raul’s passing fills us with emptiness, but also with hope for a better life for him – a life filled with peace, health, and love. He is survived by his parents, Raul and Miryam; sisters Mirgitt, Mirlena, and Mirladys; brothers-in-law; and nieces and nephews. We are grateful for the treatment he received at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, especially the nurses and doctors of the Intermediate Care Unit.

The family will have a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, we are grateful for any donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in his name.
