Sinton – Raul G. Carranza passed away peacefully on February 24, 2019 with his loving family at his side. He was born in, Sinton, Texas on May 28, 1950 to Ascencion and Juanita (Garcia) Carranza. Raul was a life-long resident of Sinton, Texas.

He worked in the oil field business for many years. Preceding in death are his parents: Ascencion and Juanita (Garcia) Carranza Survivors include his beloved wife: Aurora G. Carranza; daughters: Michelle Doria (Johnny) of Sinton, Texas; grandchildren: Clarisa Torres, Brendan Puentes, Brennah Puentes, Cedrick Deleon, Carolina Doria; brothers: Emilio G. Carranza and Forutso G. Carranza both of Sinton, Texas; sisters: Nifa C. Gonzalez of Texas City, Texas. Yolanda C. Aguilar and Jesusa Turillio both of Sinton, Texas.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2019, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, February 27, 2019, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton, Texas, with Father Glen Mullan as celebrant.
