Sinton – Susan Hanson passed away peacefully at home on January 31, 2019. She was 70. Susan was born in Neptune, New Jersey on July 31, 1948 to Doris Mae (Glab) and Robert Benjamin Britton, Jr

She was a resident of Sinton and former resident of Calallen. Susan was employed by HEB in Annaville. Preceding in death are her parents; Doris and Robert Britton, Jr.; brother: Robert Benjamin Britton, III; and sister: Terry Lynn Vigil.

Survivors include her son: Richard Dean Hanson of Ft. Benning, GA; daughters: Brenda Sue Hanson (Eulogio Garcia) of Sinton, Texas and Lacey Thornton (Billy) of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren: Aralynn Grace Garcia; Jennifer Nicole Garcia and Paul Michael Garcia; sister: Carole A. Hines (Jeffrey) of San Antonio, Texas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019, 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 430 S. Carancahua St. in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests garden plants, a rose bush that blooms unique roses or monetary donations be made to any animal shelter of choice with a no-kill policy. Guestbook available online at www.
