Aransas Pass – Henry Reed Tillison, Jr. passed away peacefully on February 16, 2019 at his residence with his family at his side. He was 58. Henry was born on January 3, 1961 in Bay City, Texas to Doris Ann (Hunter) and Henry Redd Tillison, Sr. on January 3, 1961.

Henry was a resident of Aransas Pass. He was a truck driver most recently employed by Live Oak Material in Ingleside. Henry was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He will be missed by all who knew him. Preceding in death is his wife: Ida Tillison; his parents: Henry and Doris Tillison; sister: Pamela Campbell; nephew: William Henry Tillison; and 2 great-nephews: Anthony Hickey and Justin Pruitt. Survivors include a son: Billy Joe Tillison of Aransas Pass, Texas; stepdaughter: Linda Kennedy (Shane) of Dallas, Texas; 2 grandchildren: Savannah and Shane Kennedy; 3 sisters: Doris Clancy, Jeanette Ward (William) and Rhonda Bills (John), all of Aransas Pass, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends.

Visitation will begin Friday, March 1, 2019, 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 2, 2019, 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Stotts officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie View Cemetery, Aransas Pass.

Pallbearers will be Billy Tillison, John Bills, Sr., John Bills, Jr., Charles Hull, Cody Hickey, Marcus Polasek and Drew Echols. Arrangements and care entrusted to Resthaven Funeral Home, Aransas Pass.
