Sinton – Miriam Rodriguez Purcell passed away peacefully at home on January 31, 2019 with her loving family at her side. She was 48. Miriam was born in Saltillo, Mexico on July 26, 1970 to Carmelo and Julieta (Martinez) Rodriguez.

Sinton was Miriam’s home for the past 10 years. She was a Teachers Administrator’s Aid with Sinton ISD for 5 years. Preceding in death is her father: Carmelo Rodriguez; brother: Moses Rodriguez; and sister: Elizabet Rodriguez.

Survivors include her loving husband: Robert Purcell; sons: Omar Rodriguez and Beto Rodriguez, all of Sinton, Texas; mother: Julieta Rodriguez; brothers: Ruben Rodriguez (Carolina); Mario Rodriguez and Carmelo Rodriguez (Patricia), all of Saltillo, Mexico; sisters: Rosa Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas and Julieta Rodriguez (Edgar) of Saltillo, Mexico. All services will be private. Arrangements and care entrusted to Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton.
