RaVae Anderson Goodman passed away on June 12, 2018. She was born November 8, 1935 in Provo Utah the second of four children. Daughter of Clifton D. Anderson and Reva J Corbett.

She married James Gary Goodman April 12, 1958 in Elko Nevada; they were sealed in the Logan Temple March 18, 1960. She had a good life doing the things she loved. She worked at the State Industrial School, She loved these girls and they called her “Goodie”.

After all her children were married RaVae and her husband became foster parents, and were foster parents for over ten years. They were Foster parents of the year for Weber County in 2000. From this they received a special daughter MaryAnn who became part of the family.

RaVae and her husband served as Stake Missionaries for the Roy Stake and Ward Missionaries for the Roy 4th Ward. She had many callings from dance director (in the good old days) Primary teacher for all ages, Primary President and Visiting Teacher for over 60 years. She had a strong testimony of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved her Savior.

She is survived by her best friend and dear husband James Gary Goodman. Her children: Jim (Joan) Goodman Seattle Washington, Russel (Joni) Goodman Clinton Utah, Cheryl (Aaron) Atwood Roy Utah, Tracy (Kirk) Farmer North Logan Utah, Connie (Doug) Williamson Roy Utah, MaryAnn (Zach) Nichols Clinton Utah. 19 grandsons and 11 granddaughters (Since some have gotten married and added to the family) 10 great grandchildren.

Two brothers Kent (Judy) Anderson Hyde Park Utah, and David Anderson Bountiful Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Elton and sister-in-law Cheryl Anderson. She requests no flowers make a donation to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian aid or perpetual education fund.

Or a charity of your choice (Hers was Cancer). Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Roy 4th ward 5301 South 2100 West, Roy, Utah. A viewing will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at Myers Mortuary 5865 South 1900 West, Roy Utah 6:00 – 8:00 PM and prior to the services at the church from 9:30 – 10:30 AM Condolences to the family may be sent to www.
