Raymond “Ray” Anderson, Sr., age 57, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018. He was born to Joseph E. Anderson, Sr. and Phyllis W. Anderson on February 7, 1961 in Gary, IN. He graduated from Horace Mann High School Class of 1980.

He was baptized at an early age. Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Arthur Henderson; and sister, Patricia Hill. Raymond is survived by his loving children, Raymond Anderson, Jr.; LaTreice Anderson; Bryce Anderson; and Kyle Anderson; five grandchildren, Donovan, Dossan, Brielle, Deighton, and Maiycn; four brothers, Phillip Henderson; Dennis Henderson; Joseph (Ayesha) Anderson; William (Delores) Anderson; three sisters, Violet Henderson; Sheila (Willie) Steele; Helenza (Wiley) Carey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with funeral services starting immediately after at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408 (219) 980-5555. Burial will be at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, IN. Raymond will be dearly missed by his loving family.
