of Goodwin St., Warwick, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was the devoted son of Bernice (Hazard) Tougas of Cranston and the late Harry Tougas. Raymond and his twin brother Richard were known in the entertainment industry as The Tougas Brothers.

He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran; and was the founder of RI Junior High School Wrestling. Besides his mother, Raymond was the devoted father of Colleen C. Bouchard (Bryan) of Harrisville, Brittney N. Tougas of Cranston, Roxanne Cahoon of Westerly, Jessica Petro (Matthew) of West Warwick and Charlene Medeiros (Timothy) of Gales Ferry, CT; dear brother of Harry J. Tougas of Cranston, Richard G. Tougas (April) of Providence, Carol A. Wright (Michael) of Johnston and the late Daniel B. Tougas and Steven P. Tougas; cherished uncle of Richard G. Tougas, Jr. of Warwick; and loving grandfather of seven. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave.

, Cranston on Wednesday, November 21st. at 10:45 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in Cranston Christian Fellowship, 1114 Scituate Ave. , Cranston at 12 noon.

VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Inurnment with military honors will take place a RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Northwest Animal Protection League, 16 ½ Wilson St., West Warwick, RI 02893.
