Regina Ballone of Howell, New Jersey April 14, 1922 – January 13, 2019 Ballone, Regina (nee Urtnowski), 96 on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Born in Brooklyn, NY she lived in Little Ferry for 52 years, a former parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona Parish. Regina moved to Leisure Village in Lakewood, NJ for 17 years and was a recent resident of Howell, NJ living with her daughter Loralee and son-in-law Michael Schellenberger.

As a homemaker, she cherished her family. She loved bingo, bicycling, butterflies, card games, coffee, knitting, power walking, roller coasters, her Senior Citizen gatherings and was an avid Spoken Books Listener. Beloved wife of the late Benedetto F. (1985) who she married in 1941.

Devoted mother of Henry “Hank” and his wife Eileen, the late Benedetto “Jack” (1984) and his late wife Laura (2011), Maryanne Emr and her husband Robert, the late Diane Hansen (2004) and her husband Ronald, Alice, Louis and his wife Debbie, Joseph and his wife Carrie and Loralee Schellenberger and her husband Michael. Cherished grandmother of Brian Ballone, Marie Elena Wurst, Cassandra Baker, Ben Ballone, Donna and Debby Emr, Andrea Otazu, Roger Hansen, David Chatterton, Cynthia Chatterton Rodriguez, Tracy Lucas, Athena Stephanie Smith, Michael Louis Ballone, Daniel, Jonathan and JoAnne Ballone, Frank and Angela Lisa, Jimmy and Christy Schellenberger and great-grandmother of 28. Predeceased by her brothers, Richard, Henry and Edward Urtnowski and her sisters, Cecilia Middleton and Claire Pappas.

Funeral from Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, 439 Maywood Avenue, Maywood (201-487-3050) on Thursday, January 17 at 9:45AM. Funeral Mass at St. Margaret of Cortona, Little Ferry at 10:30AM. Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.

Visiting Wednesday 4 to 8PM.
