Reginald’s Obituary Reginald (Reg) Sanders passed away in peace on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 6:50 am at the age of 62 after a valiant battle with a long illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Reginald Sanders was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Survived by wife Denise Sanders. Loving father to Lynn Augustine and Stacey Holton. Grandfather to Megan, Hailey, Damon Jr Augustine, Asia Davis and Selena Holton.

Also survived by five brothers and five sisters and other relatives and friends who loved him dearly. Preceded in death by parents Lena Mae Sanders and Bishop Sanders. Alumni of St Augustine High School and Marching 100.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, February 2, 2019 for 1:30pm at The Boyd Family Funeral Home located at 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Pastor Fred Luther of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Repast to follow at the same location.
