Rev. Jack Thomas Murray, 76, of 527 Bowman Road, died Tuesday January 1, 2019 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Rev.

Murray was born in Robeson County, NC on May 16, 1942, a son of the late Thomas Murray and Mary Graye. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Wilma Dean (Nusie) Murray; a son Danny Ray Murray and a grandson Brandon Jack Murray. He is survived by two sons, Timothy and Sonya Murray of Lumberton, Terry and Melissa Murray of Lumberton; two daughters, Jan and Anthony of Fairmont, Jean and Roy Locklear of Lumberton; three sisters, Betty Strickland of Cerro Gordo, Katie Johnson (Boyd) of Mullins, SC and Ernestine Strickland (Andy) of Nichols; a brother, Horace Murray (Teresa) of Lake View, SC; fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
