Mr. Richard Charles Womack, age 74 of Gaylesville, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018. Mr. Womack was born on June 26, 1944 to the late Charles & Golden Jones Womack in Dekalb County, Alabama. He retired from the United States National Guard and was a member of Menlo United Methodist Church.

Mr. Womack is survived by his wife of 49 1/2 years, Peggy Myrick Womack; daughters & sons-in-law, Christy & Gary Vines and Valerie & Ted Hughes; and grandchildren, Melanie Vines, Colby Vines and Darcy Hughes. A private service will be held at a later date. Wilson Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
