Richard was born February 12, 1979 in Plattsburg, N.Y. to James and Vinnis Herring. On June 21, 2014 he married Rebecca in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He attended Agra High School and later became self-employed as the owner of Richard’s Drywall and Finishing, LLC.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Herring. He is survived by his parents, James and Vinnis, wife Rebecca and daughters Jadyn and Eleanor, as well as his brother Sean and wife Carol. The family requests donations to Karman Legacy Hospice or CJD Foundation.
