Odem – Richard Isaiah Lopez passed away January 1, 2019. He was 28. Isaiah was born November 29, 1990 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Richard and Melissa Michelle (Fernandez) Lopez.

He was a lifelong resident of Odem. Isaish was currently employed at Auto Nation in Corpus Christi as the Business Manager in the Call Center and former employee of Wells Fargo. Isaiah had recently completed his studies earning a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Business.

Preceding in death are his grandfather: Eustacio Lopez; 3 nieces: Ambrey Nevaeh Oliva, Maddison Lenae Solis and Kaylee Rae Solis. Survivors include his parents: Richard Lopez (Domitila) of Odem, Texas; Melissa Quezada (Gilbert) of Corpus Christi, Texas; sisters: Ashley Nicole Solis (Domingo) of Calallen, Texas; Kayla Quezada and Alyssa Quesada, both of Corpus Christi, Texas; Aaliyah Esther and Maricella Isabel Lopez, both of Odem, Texas; brothers: Arturo Elias Lopez and Jesus Galindo Lopez, both of Odem, Texas; paternal grandmother: Maria Carmen Lopez of Odem, Texas; maternal grandmother: Esmeralda Rocha (Arturo Alejandro) of Corpus Christi, Texas; maternal grandfather: Victor Fernandez of Odem, Texas; and numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will begin Monday, January 7, 2019, 1:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton and will continue Tuesday, January 8, 2019.

A holy rosary will be held Monday evening, 6:30 PM and Tuesday evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 9, 2019, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Odem. Burial will follow in San Pedro Cemetery, Odem.

Pallbearers will be Arturo Lopez, Jesus Lopez, Juan Carlos Rivera, Marco Antonio Rivera, John Wade Honeycutt, Victor Fernandez, Jr. and Johnathon Lopez. Arrangements and care entrusted to Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton.
