Richard Keith Snyder, Sr., 89, of Monticello, passed away on January 17, 2019, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare after a battle with an unexpected illness. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Willis; his son, Richard Keith Snyder, Jr. (wife, Cindy); grandsons, John Powell and David Tanner (wife, Vickie); and great-granddaughter, Alexis Tanner. He honorably served our county in the United States Air Force for ten years.

He worked at FSU for 28 years, and opened his own business, Snyder Air Conditioning. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who will be greatly missed. The funeral is 2:00 PM, Monday, January 21, 2019, at Abbey Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the funeral.
