Obituary of Richard Branigan Richard J. Branigan September 25, 1952-March 23, 2018 Highland Falls, NY Richard J. Branigan, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY on Friday, March 23, 2018. He was 65 years old. Son of the late Jean and Shirley Walker Branigan, he was born September 25, 1952 in Cornwall, NY.

Richie retired from U.S.M.A. at West Point after 30 years of service and was a General Maintenance Supervisor with DPW Operation & Maintenance Department. He was an avid boater, and enjoyed crabbing and gardening and spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his loving wife, Paula Flanagan Branigan, at home, and his sister Deborah Daniels of New Port Richey, FL. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28th at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 29th at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, 401 Main Street, Highland Falls, NY.

Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY. In lieu of flowers the family has requested you send memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice.
