Obituary for Rita Griffith Rita Griffith (nee Skowronski), 82, passed away peacefully on May 7th, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Griffith; cherished mother of Sara (Robert Jr.) Eames and Jean (John) Hepp; devoted grandmother of Leslie (Mikko Goodhill), Robert III, Nathan, Kyle, and Katie; great grandmother to Jaco; dear aunt to many dearly loved nieces and nephews; and a friend to many. Rita was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Veronica “Sara” Skowronski and siblings Francis (John) Zarotney, Stanley (Betty) Larkin, and Walter (Helen) Skowronski, Helen (Casey) Lasinis, Josephine (John) Kwitkowski and Dorothy (Alan) Vonderau.

Rita worked her entire career of over forty-five years at Third Federal where she enjoyed friendship of her many colleagues. She was a very giving person who cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, where her funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2 PM with a graveside service to follow.
