Obituary for Mimma Aurelia Porcelli Mimma A. Porcelli (nee Pasqua), 85, of Sheffield Lake, passed away May 5, 2018. She was born in Ethiopia, Africa, the daughter of the late Antonio and Natalina (nee Sicari) Pasqua. She met her husband of 67 years, Pietro Porcelli and together with their children they emigrated to the United States in 1961.

Pietro predeceased her in 1995. Mimma is the beloved mother of Margarita Porcelli (deceased), Marcello Porcelli, Antonio (Margaret) Porcelli (deceased), Rita (Joseph) Mastroianni and Frank (Beth) Porcelli; adored grandmother of Peter, Michelle and Joe Porcelli, Tony and David Porcelli, Joe (Maria), Nick (Abbe), and Michael Mastroianni and Nadine, Marina, Olivia and Nicole (deceased) Porcelli and cherished great-grandmother of Khyl, Jared, Marcello and Madison Porcelli, Lorenzo Mastroianni, Mackenzie and Ayden Mastroianni and Makaylah Tabor; dear sister of Laura (Tony, deceased) Artuso and the late Luciano, Carmelina and Franco Pasqua; loving aunt of many. She came over speaking Italian and quickly learned the English language from her children.

She was a seamstress for many years and retired from Hugo Boss. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, making her own pasta and cannoli shells. A selfless and giving person, she never met a stranger and was always there to help anyone in need.

Family was everything to her and she most cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 4PM-8PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. , North Olmsted, where funeral services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10AM.
