Rita M. Reisenweaver, 90, of Weston, passed away Saturday afternoon at the residence of her daughter. Born in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Ralph E. and Wava M. (Fedder) Masteller and had spent all of her life in Weston. Rita worked along with her husband at the family businesses Thrift Furniture Mart and Carpet Land, in Conyngham.

She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Nuremberg; and had enjoyed fishing and crabbing with her husband on their boat and swimming and playing tennis with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, William D. who passed away June 10, 2012; a son David at birth; a daughter Judy who passed Oct 11, 2004; and a sister Elizabeth Gardner-Canale. Surviving are two daughters, JoAnn Casari and her husband Gerald, Weston; and Jane Lescowitch, Sheppton; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at noon from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen with Pastor Phil Smith officiating the service. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday morning from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
