Vivian E. Luchi, 91, of Conyngham, passed on, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Hazleton, following a lengthy illness. Born in Drums, October 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Kathryn (Rodgers) Young and spent the past 58 years in Conyngham, after moving from Drums. She attended Hazleton High School Vivian was a traditional homemaker and a loving wife and mother.

She was a member of Conyngham United Methodist Church, and the church’s Friendship Class. Throughout her life Vivian’s United Methodist Church family was a great of fellowship and support. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women and the Conyngham Valley Historical Society.

In her earlier years she enjoyed collecting and refinishing antique furniture. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Robert, who passed away November 24, 1994; two brothers Evan “Dreb” and Duane “Bud” Young; and a sister Phyllis Culp. Surviving are three children Bonnie Racho and her husband Joseph; Mark Luchi and his wife Chris; and Scott Luchi and his wife Jean, all of Conyngham; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her longtime caregiver Rosemary.

Her memorial service will be held, Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 2 pm in Conyngham United Methodist Church, 411 Main Street, Conyngham. Interment will follow in Drums Community Cemetery. Friends may call at the church, Saturday, November, 10, 2018 from 1pm until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Conyngham United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, PO Box AB, Conyngham, PA 18219 or the Conyngham Valley Historical Society, PO Box 131 Conyngham, PA 18219.
