Robert Bob Henry Chevalier, November 14, 1934 — April 27, 2018

Obituary for Robert “Bob” Henry Chevalier Robert “Bob” Henry Chevalier, 83, of Lebanon, and formerly of Champlain, New York, passed away at Spang Crest Manor. He was the husband of Valerie (Reum) Chevalier, with whom he celebrated 56 years in marriage. Bob, also known as “Lefty”, was born in Rouses Point, New York on November 14, 1934 to the late James and Vina (Boilard) Chevalier.

He had retired from New York State as a state corrections officer. Bob was very proud to have served with the US Navy. He had attended St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, Annville.

In his younger days, he had coached baseball. He had artistic abilities as well, working with wood and rocks to create his works of art. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Troy Chevalier and his wife Grace of San Mateo, CA, Tim Chevalier and his wife Annette of Cleona, Gregg Chevalier and his wife Kelly of Bridgewater, VA, and his grandchildren, Danielle, Nicholas, Charles, and Sarah.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Maurice and Loretta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 12 Noon at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, 125 S. Spruce Street, Annville. Interment will be with military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

There will be a visitation with the family held from 11AM until 12 Noon at the church.
