Obituary for Robert M. “Bob” Ross DDS Robert M. “Bob” Ross, DDS, 76, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Formerly of Poughkeepsie, NY, he had been a Bonita Springs resident since 2014. He was born October 30, 1941 in Detroit, MI, the son of Michael M. and Goldie (née Friedman) Ross.

Dr. Ross practiced dentistry in Hyde Park, NY for over 45 years. He was an avid golfer and Captain of his bocce team at Vasari Country Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marilyn (née Artosky) Ross; his beloved sons, Michael (Beth) Ross of Lexington, MA and Eric (Robin) Ross of Livingston, NJ; his brother, Dr. Thomas (Betty) Ross of Atlantis, FL; sister-in-law, Fran (Dr. Jeff) Cohen of Sarasota, FL; five cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Devin, Ryan, Allison and Samuel; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Temple Shalom, 4630 Pine Ridge Rd. , Naples, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society (www.

cancer.org), Temple Shalom (naplestemple.org), the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (www. jdrf.org) or to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home – Family Owned Since 1978.
