Robert E.’s Obituary Robert E. (Elmer) Haney, age 86, passed away on Friday, January 25 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania. He was born in Niagara Falls, New York on July 19, 1932, the son of the late John and Bertha (Covert) Haney, both from Canada. Bob attended High School in Niagara Falls and College at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he briefly taught and received His Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

He served his country proudly in the United States Navy. Bob loved spending time with his only grandson Jaedyn and his dog Lucky. He was an animal lover and he enjoyed the “Family Tradition” of apple picking every year in the BEAUTIFUL apple orchards around Western New York.

Robert is survived by two children: his son Robert A. (Elizabeth) Haney of Canton, New York and his daughter Erin E. Haney of Chautauqua, NY. He is also survived by his grandson Jaedyn R. Stoltz of Chautauqua County, two nieces: Jennifer Moote (Haney) and Mary Haney, his brother William (Ellen) Haney of Kenmore and several grand-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Robert is predeceased by His wife Patricia E. (Clayton) Haney.

Robert (Bob) will be DEEPLY, DEEPLY missed by lots of Friends and Family for which he was an integral part of their lives! A “Special Thank you to Jamestown, New York Visiting Nurses Association (especially “Nurse” Candy) and to all the Nurses and Doctors who cared for Him! Friends may call at THE LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC.

, 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 on Friday, February 8 from 2-4 and 6-8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John De LaSalle Church, 8477 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls at 10 am on Saturday February 9. He will be interred next to his wife in Riverdale Cemetery in Lewiston, NY.

A celebration of His BEAUTIFUL Spirit will follow interment.
