Robert E. Hunt. 78, of Conneaut, passed away July 6, 2018 at UH Geauga. He was born April 4, 1940 in Conneaut the son of John & Frances (Grace) Hunt.

Robert worked for the P&C Dock Company. He attended Assembly of God Church in Conneaut and belonged to the Archery Club and Evergreen Masonic Lodge #222 in Conneaut. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and traveling.

Survivors include his wife, Rita (Olds) Hunt whom he married in 1996; he was formerly married to Kathleen (Prescott) Hunt of Conneaut and they have five beautiful children together, Kristinana (Tom) Hackett of Geneva, Robin (KIrt) Barber of Chardon, Laura (Josh) Cornelius , John (Pam) Hunt and Daniel Hunt all of Conneaut; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; step-son, Richard (Erin) Brown of FL; siblings, Richard (Loretta) Hunt, Leo Hunt both of Conneaut and Millie( Frank) Orsini of Erie, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday July 11, 2018 at the Marcy Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with Rev. George Fink officiating from Assembly of God Church in Conneaut. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Conneaut. Contributions may be made to Lung Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
