Robert’s Obituary Robert F. “Bob” Miller Sr., of Brookfield Township, passed away of natural causes in his home at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019. He was 91.

On Jan. 26, 1927, Bob was born in Newton Falls, Ohio, a son to Sarah (Frew) and Floyd Miller. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and worked at GM Lordstown as a welder for 20 years, retiring in 1992.

Bob had a passion for Pure Stock racing and drove the #65 stock car at local speedways in the Tri-County area. He remained active in go-karts and stock cars with his family, who carried on his number #65. When he wasn’t working on or restoring antique tractors, Bob also enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

Bob is survived by his son, Robert F. Miller Jr., of Hartford, Ohio; grandchildren, Melissa Miller-Cole, Chad Miller and Shawn Miller and his wife Teri; great grandchildren, Tyler, Gavin, Preston, Addison, Blake and Ethan; and one great-great grandchild, Sadie Rose. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Delores Gergely and Ruth Rogan; and two brothers, William and Glen Miller. Robert F. “Bob” Sr., 91, of Brookfield Township.
