Obituary for Robert Harold “Bob” Shaver Robert Harold “Bob” Shaver, 73, of Wallace, passed away at 1:09am, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born in Clarksburg, June 12, 1945, a son of the late Harold Franklin and Geraldine McIntire Shaver. He is survived by his wife, Clarice D. Donnellan Shaver, whom he married July 22, 1962.

Also surviving are two sons, Robert Shaver, Jr. and his wife Alicia, Salem, Terry Shaver and his wife Terrah, Pennsboro, five grandchildren, Nicole Barker and her husband Burl, Rosemont, Jessica Shaver, Morgantown, Ivy Shaver, Morgantown, Lacey Shaver, Lumberport, Hunter Shaver, Pennsboro, one great-grandchild, Holden Barker, one brother, James Shaver and his wife Mary Ann, Doddridge County, and several nieces and nephews. Bob was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local # 152 with 55 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and member of the NRA.

He devoted many years to coaching the youth in the Wallace area. He was a member and usher of the Jewel City Church. Bob was very devoted to the church and loved his church family.

His last few days were devoted to his family whom he loved and cherished. The family will receive friends at Jewel City Church, 511 Jewel City Blvd. , Meadowbrook, from 4pm until the time of the service at 7:30pm, Tuesday, November 27, with Pastor Robert L. Shingleton officiating.
