Obituary for Lettie Lee Toothman Lettie Lee Toothman, 81, of Fairmont, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. She was born in Fairmont, August 31, 1937, a daughter of the late David Naaman and Goldie Pearl Little Roderick. On August 31, 1957, she married Herbert Harold Toothman, Jr. who preceded her in death on December 18, 2014.

Surviving are one son, Harold Allen Toothman and his wife Claudia, Cowen, WV, one daughter, Lettie Darlene Pyles and her companion Harry, White Hall, five grandchildren, Frank Allen Toothman and his wife Autumn, Norfolk, VA, Dennis Lee Toothman and his wife Kayla, Mt. Lookout, WV, Patrick Naaman Toothman and his wife Ashtin, Cowen, Rebecca Darlene Robinson and her husband Daniel, Morgantown, and David Michael Pyles and his wife Erin, Pt. Marion, PA, seven great-grandchildren, Frank Michael Toothman, Braylen Janson Toothman, Addison Rose Toler, Ashton Michael Toler, Olivia Rose Toothman, Draven and Addison Lough, and one great-grandson on the way, Michael James Pyles.

She also is survived by her sister-in-law, Earlene Roderick, Fairmont, and several nieces and nephews. Lettie was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by two brothers, Charles William Roderick and Raymond Earl Roderick, and two sisters Goldie Elouise Costello and Hallie Virginia Wolfe. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, James Michael Pyles.

Lettie was a homemaker who loved everyone and never knew a stranger. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed coloring and doing word search puzzles.

She loved to babysit children, especially her grandchildren. She was a founding member of Jewel City Church in Meadowbrook. The family will receive friends at Jewel City Church, 511 Jewel City Blvd.

, Meadowbrook, from 2-8pm, Tuesday, January 1, 2019. A funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, January 2, at 1pm, with Pastor Robert L. Shingleton officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont.
