Robert J. Cullen, 65, of Castalia, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was born June 1, 1952, in Sandusky, OH, and was a 1970 graduate of Margaretta High School. He was a 33 year employee with the City of Sandusky Sewer Department, retiring as a supervisor in 2006.

He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sandusky; Castalia Lions Club; Eagles; Amvets; and Orioles. He played dartball for many years with the Bellevue Eagles and Erie Co. League and enjoyed golfing in the Sunday Bar League. He is survived by 2 daughters Candi (Jason) Haynes of Castalia, and Tracy Weeks of Sandusky; 2 grandchildren Brianna Weeks and Hunter Haynes; 2 sisters Cindy (Tom) Crawford and Christine (Paul) Schoenegge both of Castalia; 4 brothers David (Fran) Cullen of Sandusky, Michael (Susan) Cullen, Edward (Deborah) Cullen, John (Susan) Cullen all of Castalia; several nieces and nephews; and close friend Foxy.

Brother Bob was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Lavina Cullen and brother Nicholas in infancy. A Celebration of Life will be held 5-8 PM, Friday, May 4, 2018, in the Castalia Lions Club, North Washington St., Castalia. Memorials may made to the Castalia Lions, Box 34, Castalia, OH 44824.
