Robert L. “Bob” Bay, age 80, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Bob was born in Covington, KY on July 16, 1937 to the late Charles and Alberta Bay. He is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Doris Bay.

Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years, Betty M. Bay (nee Mitchell); daughters, Donna Fryman (Travis) and Janet Mockbee (Bill); step daughter, Patricia Hornsby and step son, William Paul Biddle (Jamie). He also leaves behind 3 great grandchildren Eleanor Mockbee, Kaylee Hornsby, and little PJ.

Bob was the dear brother of Beverly Spoonmore, Shirley Harlow (Bob), and Gary Bay (Lisa). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Bob retired from Jim Beam where he worked many years as a Pipe Fitter and for Avis Rental Cars.

Family was everything to Bob he enjoyed family vacations, the Smokey Mountains, Bluegrass Music and Dancing. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 2 PM at Stith Funeral Home 7500 US Hwy 42 Florence, KY 41042. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society 2808 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45206 or to Saint Elizabeth Hospice 483 South Loop Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017.
