Obituary for Robert Russell Schmidt Robert Russell Schmidt, 62, passed away on October 21, 2018 at his home. A native of Detroit, Michigan, son of Robert Gillmore Schmidt of Phoenix, Arizona and the late Nancy Staggs Schmidt, he was a retired employee of Steve White Motors and of the Christian Faith. Surviving in addition to his father, are his wife, Nancy Frudden Schmidt of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Ann Husk (Zachariah) of Greer; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert Bruce Schmidt (Kelley) of Greer and Christian Daniel Schmidt of Greenville; two sisters, Patricia Nordahl of Phoenix, Arizona and Margaret Davis of Los Angeles, California and two grandchildren, Lilia Grace Schmidt and Emma Juliana Husk.

Also, an honored son, Joshua Decker of Austin, TX. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Simpsonville, SC. The family is at the home.
