Robert William Goossen, Jr. (Bob) age 73 passed away Sunday evening in Grand Haven. He was born in Grand Rapids on June 5, 1945 to Robert and Agnes (Hager) Goossen Sr He graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School in 1963.

Bob served his country in the US Marine Corp. He was the owner of Goossen Masonry in Grand Haven with his son Christopher. Bob loved his family and 4 Akita dogs.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Jayne of Grand Haven; three children: Brenda (Herb) Goossen-Green of Holland, Shelly (Brian) Putzke of Saugatuck, and Christopher (Kelly) Goossen of Grand Haven; five grandchildren: Nick and Sam Putzke, Jacob and Emma Goossen and Owen Green; two brothers, Don (Sandy) Goossen and Dale (Linda) Goossen , his Special Aunt Dorothy (Goossen) Watson; in-laws, Cory (Bob) Monroe, John (Denise) Dieleman, Sr., and Peter (Judy) Dieleman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Meribeth Goossen. The family would like to thank the Grand Haven Hospice of NOC team for their care and support.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22 from 5:00-8:00 PM at The VanZantwick Chapel (620 Washington Ave. ) Memorial contributions to the Humane Society are appreciated. Share memories with the family at their online guest book at www.
