Obituary for Rodney Lee Ketels Rodney “Rod” Ketels, 73, of Greeley passed away April 26, 2018 peacefully at his home with his family by his side. Rod was born and raised in Greeley, CO to Floyd Ketels and Phyllis (Trimble) Ketels. Rod cowboy’d in his younger days and drove trucks most of his life.

He married Ann (Polland) Ketels June 3, 1994. He joined the Army in 1965-1967 and was a Vietnam Veteran. Rod was a unique man.

He loved children and had his very own sense of humor. He will always be sadly missed by his family and friends. Rod is survived by his wife Ann; daughters, Kristie Lynn Fry (Howard), Judi Huff (Richard), Rhonda Simons and Tammi (Rob); stepson, Cody Cooper (Jody); fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; a brother Don Ketels and a very special nephew, Dale Ketels.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dale Ketels; sister, Cheryl Lane, special cousin Alan Trimble; sister-in-law, Linda Ketels; grandparents and numerous Aunts and uncles. Rod chose not to have a funeral but a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Evans, in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 702 13th Street, Greeley, CO, 80631.
