Obituary for Alvina Pauline Whittman Alvina Pauline Whittman, 92, of Greeley, passed away April 24, 2018 at TRU Hospice of Northern Colorado. She was born to Adam and Pauline Dill on December 15, 1925 in Greeley. She was baptized into the Lutheran Faith on February 14, 1926 and confirmed on March 17, 1940.

Her scripture text was, “But the fruit of the Spirit is, love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance”. Galatians 5:22. Her Bible verse was Revelations 2:10 “Be thou faithful unto death and I will give you a crown of life”.

Alvina was married to Conrad Whittman on March 3, 1946 in Trinity Lutheran Church by Rev. Leo E. Rubel. Conrad and Alvina had two adopted children together.

Conrad passed away July 20, 1978. Alvina worked at the Weld County Greeley Hospital, now NCMC for eleven years. She loved music, especially hymns, playing the organ by ear, also loved crafts, cooking, baking, sharing with all her friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Freeman, grandchildren, CJ Freeman, Christy (Mike) Weilert and Jason Whittman, great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Candy and Kale; sister in law, Bertha Dill. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Conrad; son, Tim: a sister and four brothers. Service will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday April 27, 2018 at the Trinity Lutheran Church.
