OBITUARY Roger D. Thorpe Sr. February 10, 1957 – January 13, 2019 Play Tribute Movie Thorpe, Roger D., Sr., 61, passed away January 13, 2019. Roger was preceded in death by his sons, Brandon Michael Thorpe and Dallas Erik Thorpe; father, Harry Anthony Thorpe Sr.; and grandmother, Mary Cummings. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Janice L. Thorpe; children, Christopher Michael Thorpe, Amanda May Moore, Roger Dale Thorpe Jr., Lisa Marie Thorpe, Mark Smith, and Kevin Smith; grandchildren, Desiree, James, Cameron, Jaedyn, Daylen, Alexis, Myla, Mackinzie, Karli, and Tyler; 2 great-grandchildren; mother, Betty Bodemann; siblings, Harry Anthony Thorpe Jr. (Lisa), James Lee Thorpe (Cynthia), Mike Thorpe, Timmy Wayne Thorpe, Tina Brunson (Phillip), Marlene Woodall (David), and Mary Rolli; and his best friends, Kenny Armstrong and Dennis Woodall.

The funeral service will be held Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10 am at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home. FAMILY Roger was preceded in death by his sons, Brandon Michael Thorpe and Dallas Erik Thorpe; father, Harry Anthony Thorpe Sr.; and grandmother, Mary Cummings.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Janice L.
