Funeral service for Roger Dale Guess, Sr., 71, will be Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Goode officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Guess died on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born October 14, 1947, in Limestone County to Clyde Russell Guess and Louella Easley Guess.

He was retired from the Hartselle City School System after working 20 years in the custodial field. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter: Claire Guess. Survivors include : his Wife, Karen Sanders Guess Two Sons: Roger Dale Guess, Jr. (Christy) and Brian Paul Guess (Hayley) Two Sisters: Linda Whitehead (Ira) and Janice Owens Three Grandchildren: Jaxon Guess, Jacob Demastus and Sierra Higginbotham Pallbearers will be Charles Sanders, Scott Owens, Jimmy Owens, and Jerry Woodruff, Sonny Missildine, and Bryant Missildine.
