A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Archie F. Short, 85, will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Bro. John Maxwell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Short died on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 22, 1933, in Perry County, Arkansas, to Archie Dell Short and Marie Lipsmyer Short. He was the Owner and Operator of A & R Construction and was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge #655.

Preceding him in death were his wife: Jean J. Short, and a son: Archie Lynn Short and his parents. Survivors include: Two Sons: Robert L.
