Roger Lee Davis, age 68 of Toronto, OH passed away surrounded by his loving wife Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the Mercy – UPMC Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born October 6, 1949 in Steubenville, OH . Roger loved his family, fishing, hunting and rock and roll especially the Lynyrd Skynyrd Band He was retired from the Weirton Steel Co. and had formerly been employed as a security guard at the Mountaineer Resort, Racetrack and Casino.

Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean (Shook) Davis and his beloved dog Lucky Girl. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Lynn (Vantilburg) Davis whom he married February 14, 2006; father, Addison Burke Davis of Toronto, OH; sons: Stephen Burke Davis of Richmond, OH, Eric Roger Davis of Wintersville, OH and Cody Lee (Paulette) Davis of Empire, OH; step-daughter, Holly Lynn Morris and step-son, Jeremy Michael (Amanda) Vantilburg all of East Liverpool, OH; three granddaughters survive and a first grandson, Oaklee Boone is due in August; five step grandsons, two step-granddaughters survive; also surviving are a brother, David Alan (Janice) Davis of Columbus, OH and a sister, Marla Gayle (Tim) Yeager of Toronto, OH. Two nieces and one nephew survive.

Visitation hours for Roger will be held 7-9 Wednesday, June 6th at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH To honor Roger’s wishes, he will be cremated.
