Roger O. Beaudoin, 91, formerly of Biddeford, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Seal Rock Health Care. He was born to Alfred and Claudia (Binette) Beaudoin in Biddeford on March 17, 1927 and was educated in local schools. Roger served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, attaining the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class.

On April 19, 1955 he married Paulette G. Bouchard in St. Joseph’s Church. He was employed as a shoe cutter for most of his working life. After retirement he worked as a parking lot attendant at Biddeford Savings Bank.

He enjoyed playing cards and had been a member of St. Jean Baptiste until its closure. He joined St. Louis Alumni Association and remained a member until his death. He was preceded in death by Paulette, his wife of 61 years on January 13, 2017, and also by a niece, Kelly Roberts.

Roger is survived by: his daughters: Diane Turgeon and husband Chuck of Saco and Susan Beaulieu of Biddeford 2 grandchildren: Jennifer (Turgeon) Tomah and husband Phil of Biddeford and Jeffrey Turgeon and his wife Maggie of Sanford. 2 great granddaughters: Malarie Tomah of Biddeford and Annabeth Turgeon of Sanford 1 sister, Claire Beaudoin Roberts and husband Claude of Saco “adopted” daughter, Laurie Wilensky Pinette and husband Mike of Virginia and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visiting hours.
